I liked Popchips! enough, but they’re not my favorite.
They’re puffed up chips that lack a little of the salty satisfaction a regular potato chip has to offer. These are super filling despite their light airy-ness. I tried the original flavor and was unimpressed, however I did like the cheddar flavor better. The crunch is a little different that the crispy chip, it was best described by Taquitos.net as “stryrofoam-like crunch.”
Being not a healthy-focused eater, these seem healthier than your average potato chip. Popchips! aren’t baked or fried, but the process is deemed as “magic” by the company, so I’m not certain how they are processed. (If anybody can tell me how these are ACTUALLY made, I would love to know!) I need to try another flavor or two before I can give an official thumbs-up or down, but for now, the thumb is directly in the middle.

But to let you know how popchips aremade: we take the finest ingredients apply heat and pressure, and pop! It’s a chip. but of course a little bit of snack magic involved 😉
